H. Moser & Cie. is an independent Swiss watch company based in Switzerland’s Schaffhausen.
The company is inspired by its namesake, the horological entrepreneur Heinrich Moser (1805-1874), who was a watchmaker and engineering pioneer in the region. Today the brand manufactures all of its own movements and assembles them by hand in its workshops.
It is best known for its simple and useful complications and its pure and elegant designs. The company is owned by Georges-Henri Meylan of MELB Holding.

ONE
Moser & Cie. once made a watch with a case made out of Swiss Vacherin Mont d’Or cheese. It was called the Swiss Mad Watch and it cost $1,000,000.
TWO
Heinrich Moser went to St Petersburg at the age of 21, where he repaired a timepiece for Tsar Nicolas I. He was the only one who was able to repair it, gaining the respect of the Tsar and the Russian people.

Heinrich Moser was the founder of the first hydro-electrical dam which helped industrial growth in the town of Schaffhausen.
