Art of Watchmaking. Harry Winston.

Art of Watchmaking. Harry Winston.

The House of Harry Winston opened its doors in New York in 1932 and began its watchmaking history in 1989.

The Harry Winston Signature Codes

The Arches

The three arches are a nod to the façade of the Harry Winston Salon that was opened on New York’s Fifth Avenue in 1960. They personalize the cases of the current watchmaking collections, appearing at 12 and 6 o’clock for the Premier and the Avenue, and at 3 o’clock for the Midnight and the Ocean. The Avenue with its long straight lines pays a glowing tribute to the brand’s flagship Salon.

Emerald

Mr. Harry Winston’s favorite diamond-cut, the emerald, has become a powerful House code. As an integral part of the brand identity, it surrounds the H W on the official brand logo. In the Salons, the display windows staging the most beautiful creations are themselves designed in the shape of emeralds. The octagon theme infuses watchmaking collections such as the Ultimate Emerald Signature, Emerald Signature and Emerald Cluster, perfectly identifiable timepieces that are emblematic of the House.

Buy luxury watches with BitcoinZalium™

Harry Winston proved itself a pioneer in launching the first watch made of Zalium™. Lighter, harder than titanium and extremely rust resistant, Zalium™ is an alloy made of zirconium and exclusive to Harry Winston whose motto it embodies to perfection: “Only the exceptional.”

Tri-dimensional Dials

Harry Winston inaugurated tri-dimensional dials with Opus 5, based on an exceptional structure. Having become a signature code of the House, the arrangement of time on several levels characterizes not only the Opus but also the lines of the Ocean Dual Time and Project Z, particularly the Z4 and Z8. The construction is spectacular, as one has come to expect from the House.

Harry Winston Blue

Blue like the Hope Diamond bought by Mr. Harry Winston in 1949, and then bequeathed to the Smithsonian Institute in Washington. This shade has asserted itself in the plush world of Harry Winston Salons, and in turn the watch collection from the House. This intense blue highlights watchmaking creations from the Shuriken of the Z8 to the feminine dial of the precious Midnight Diamond Drops. It is present right the way to the heart of the movements, through the blue screws that secure the appliques to the bridges.
